End of Season Report
2010 has been another successful season for the Fuchs Silkolene backed Steve Jordan Suzuki team and riders. Team owner, Steve Jordan took championship honours in the BMCRC UK Thunderbike Championship on his Suzuki SV700 by a slender margin of just 16 points after a hard fought season long battle which went right down to the last race at Brands Hatch at the beginning of October. [...]
Adam Molloy secured the 2010 MRO Minitwins Championship in style for the second year in a row on his Suzuki SV650 with some sensible and mature riding ensuring he had a fairly trouble free season. This is the fourth year in a row that Steve Jordan Suzuki have won this championship, we hope that this will be repeated in 2011. [...]
Sarah Jordan enjoyed a mixed season which started well with a good qualifying performance during the first round of the British Supersport Championship. Sadly during the race on lap four a fall at Druids put paid to any chances of a top twenty finishing position which was the goal for the weekend. Solid results at Cadwell Park followed but then the ageing Suzuki GSXR600 that had endured four hard seasons finally decided to expire. The team quickly rebuilt the engine but this used up most of the budget and time was called on the bike in preparation for the 2011 season, Sarah decided to make the switch to a GSXR1000 early and gain as much track time as possible on the new bike.
[...] 2011 is a season that we are all looking forward to. New riders coming into the team will ensure that again we will be strong contenders in many Championships. We have at present plans to compete with three riders in the MRO Minitwins Championship, two in the UK Thunderbike Championship and Steve and Sarah Jordan in a mix of British and MRO Superstock 1000's, plus a one off round of the World Endurance Championship at Donington Park in August which will add something different and hopefully a little excitement to the 2011 season.
It is without a doubt that the support we have received from Fuchs Silkolene during 2010 has helped the team to ensure that every bike ran to the best performance and also looked their best. We would also like to thank our other supporters, Adam Kemp from Halo Leathers, Bernard and Margaret Elliott, John Hall, Brian and Annis Winfield, Pirelli UK, Feridax, Planet Knox, Racedays.net, K-Tech, Suzuki GB and MotoGB.
