Elena Rosell renueva con el Team Kawasaki Palmeto
La piloto valenciana disputará su segunda temporada dentro de la escuadra dirigida por Pedro Parajuá y José Lázaro. Tras un primer año de aprendizaje dentro de la categoría de Stock Extreme, donde consiguió ser la primera mujer en sumar puntos, Elena Rosell y el Team Kawasaki Palmeto PLR han llegado a un acuerdo que prolongará su colaboración a lo largo del CEV 2011.

This year we intend to compete in the Thundersport GB Superstock 600 Championships. You will see by the race schedule we are going to have a really busy season in front of us.
All of the Thundersport rounds are being televised on the Motors TV channel (I will give you a wave) apart from watching me, all of our sponsors will get coverage too. We will also be attending selected Scottish rounds and the very prestigious Melville 600 Superstock Championships.

Команда "Яхнич Моторспорт" провела первые тренировочные сессии
Гонщики YMS Надя Яхнич, Наташа Любимова, Владимир Леонов, Сергей Власов и Максим Киселёв вернулись в Москву после тренировок в Испании и Португалии. Команда проходила подготовку на треках в Альмерии, Хересе, Картагене и Портимао, отработав полным итало-российским составом, под руководством главного тренера Клаудио Корсетти. Следующие тренировки начнутся уже 7 февраля.
The First Training Session of the Team "Yakhnich Motorsport"
The YMS racers Nadya Yakhnich, Natasha Lubimova, Vladimir Leonov, Sergey Vlasov and Maxim Kyselev have come back to Moscow after their training session in Spain and Portugal. The team had practice on the tracks of Almeria, Jerez, Cartagena and Portimao working in full Russian-Italian strength supervised by the head coach Claudio Corsetti. The next training session starts on 7 February.

Girl racer Tinmouth to make British Superbike Championship history

Race Report - Round 1 2011 NZ Championships
This year I am riding my Honda rs125 for Team Race Supplies, again in the 125cc category. Most of my competitors from last year have moved up to 600cc supersport bikes so my main competition this year is from young up-and-comers and the visiting Australians and one Malaysian rider.
Our weekend started out well as we had a really good set-up from previous testing which gave me some confidence for the three races coming up over the weekend.

De eerste voorjaarstraining staat vast. 21/22 Februari zal ik met Chris en Marcel gaan trainen in Albacete (Spanje). Dit zal dan de eerste keer zijn dat ik op de Yamaha R6 zal gaan rijden!

WERA West 2011 Season Opener
My first expert race... Saturday's racer only practice, hosted by Fastrack Rider's, went smooth with the exception of horribly cold temperatures. Barely cracked 50 deg F all day!
Sunday's races were a bit intimidating to say the least. Seeing myself on row 2 was bizarre. I felt so out of place! My starts were pretty decent, and I was thrilled to find myself up with the leaders through the first turn or so. Then it just fell off from there.

WERA Road Racing - Fontana, CA 1/9/11
We got off to a rough start Saturday the 8th at Fontana. In the beginning of the day I went down due to cold tires on the very cold track. Fortunately, we were able to get the parts we needed in order to fix the minor damages that were done to the bike, and get back out during the end of the day for the last two sessions.

WERA West Round 1 - Autoclub Speedway - January 9th, 2011
After reminiscing over my first trip to Autoclub Speedway last January, I couldn't wait to head down to California again for some much needed seat time on the race bikes. Iris and I had not raced or participated in any trackdays since mid September of last year. This trip would provide the opportunity to shake out our bikes and get ourselves mentally back into racing.

Daphne in tranen
Helaas hebben we moeten vernemen dat het team van Daphne Hop genoodzaakt is te stoppen met de Talent Cup 600. Het Fennema Racing Team moet naast de enige dame in het gezelschap ook Mervyn Verploegen en Marijn Fennema teleurstellen. De jonge coureurs zijn nu naarstig op zoek naar nieuwe sponsoren.

"Яхнич Моторспорт" выехала на зимние тренировки в Испанию и Португалию. В планах команды провести сессии почти на всех испанских мототреках - Альмерия, Херес и Картагена, а также в португальском Портимао.

Voorjaarstraining op Cartagena
Na 3 lange maanden wachten was het eindelijk zo ver, woensdag 5 januari vertrokken mijn vader en ik naar Cartagena! De motor hadden we de week ervoor al afgegeven voor transport, en een van de pitboxgenoten (Maarten Bekker, met wie we tevens een appartement zouden delen) zou nog wat extra spullen meenemen. Zelf hoefden we alleen nog maar met het vliegtuig van Weeze naar Alicante om daar met een huurauto naar het circuit te rijden. 's Nachts om half 3 zijn we thuis vertrokken (ik ben overigens om 3.10 nog op radio 3FM geweest) en rond een uur of 12 kwamen we aan in Cartagena. 18 graden, zon, helemaal perfect!

Grote streep door de rekening
Afgelopen week kregen we te horen dat alle plannen met het Fennema Racingteam niet door kunnen gaan. Dit komt door het faillissement van Fennema Motoren in Apeldoorn. Met veel teleurstelling sloten wij de week af. Wij staan nu met lege handen en kunnen waarschijnlijk niet meer racen.

Cartagena Dezember 2010
Aufregende Tage habe ich hinter mir. Geplant war eigentlich eine Trainingswoche vom 24.12.2010 bis zum 31.12.2010 im sonnigen Spanien. Es ist zwar nicht ganz so gekommen wie geplant, aber gut. Es war trotzdem cool.

Kurzfristig durfte ich doch noch ins etwas wärmere und vor allem schneefreie Spanien. Christoph Scholl hat jedes Jahr vom 27. – 31. Dezember in Calafat ein tolles Sportfahrertraining für jedermann. Er hatte mich kurzfristig angerufen, ob ich ihn nicht tatkräftig als Instruktor dort etwas unterstützen könnte.

Winner – 2010 New Zealand F5 GP
After a mixed weekend at the 2010 Taupo road race spectacular, Avalon is pleased to come away with the NZ formula F5 GP trophy. Riding an RG50cc machine lent to her for the race, she held off strong competition from regular challenger David Diprose in a race held in fine conditions at Taupo Motorsport Park.
