JENNY TINMOUTH SETTLES BACK INTO SUPERSPORT AT KNOCKHILL

Jenny Tinmouth returned to Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport action last weekend at Knockhill. Putting her early season frustrations behind her she was more than keen to get back into the groove riding her Manx Glass and Glazing backed Honda CBR600RR. Despite being, effectively, eight races behind her rivals, she came away from Scotland with respectable finishes in both wet and dry conditions.

Twentythree-year-old Sarah Heide from Limbach-Oberfrohna took a surprising win today at Sachsenring in the 4th round of the Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft's Supersport class. Weather was messy and Heide of Team Suzuki Laux took some risk deciding for drys when most of the field sticked to wets.

Varm helg i Finland

Årets tredje og fjerde runde i Scandinavian open ble denne helgen kjørt på banen Alastaro i Finland. Vi var på plass allerede onsdag formiddag, og skulle kjøre treningen på torsdag. Etter mye dårlig vær den siste tiden, føler jeg ikke at jeg kan klage når gradene har vært oppimot 30varme i skyggen, men 57 grader i asfalten og timer med kjøring bød på utfordringer.

Questo report lo scrivo dopo un po' di giorni, quasi a freddo, perchè finora purtroppo ho pensato solo alle cose negative di quel we...

Arriviamo in autodromo, purtroppo il paddok sottostante è già tutto occupato, e ci infiliamo nel paddok "di sopra". In quel momento abbiamo capito che per fortuna in extremis abbiamo incastrato in qualche modo la bici nel furgone, che sarà la nostra salvezza.

La temperatura è ottima, le previsioni cambiano in continuazione, le rain le ho portate ma spero vivamente di non doverle usare... Il tempo sembra che regga. Inizio a prepararmi per il primo turno.

Die Firma Wunderlich hatte mich vor einiger Zeit gefragt, ob ich nicht Lust hätte, beim Fischereihafenrennen mit ihrer Naked Bike Version der BMW S1000RR Piranha zu fahren. Natürlich habe ich, ohne zu wissen, was das Bremerhavener Rennen überhaupt ist, einfach mal zugesagt... Samstag Morgen habe ich mich guter Dinge auf den Weg nach Bremerhaven gemacht. Nach meiner etwas längeren Pause freute ich mich schon sehr auf das Wochenende. Ich konnte endlich testen, ob ich wieder renntauglich bin.

Varmt på Alastaro, Finland

Denne helgen var teamet på Alastarobanen i Finland. Det ble 3 treningsheat på fredag i steiksol og over 30 graderi skyggen og 50 på asfalten.

Jeg har aldri kjørt på denne banen før og var ivrig på å komme meg utpå for å prøve. Ut ifra bilder og film hadde jeg intrykk av at det var en veldig rask bane og ikke så teknisk. Fant fort ut at der tok jeg feil og strevde med å få flyt og finne sporet. Det gikk ikke så fort på fredag men synes det gikk helt greit for å ikke ha vært der før.

SOAR Round#2 June 11th-12th , 2011

Saturday was a wonderful day! After getting my bike through tech, I went out for practice, trying to learn the track, as I have never done the reverse configuration before at Toronto Motorsport Park. After the first practice, we found that we had to change to a large sprocket on the rear and also some different jetting to allow the bike to run much smoother.

Klaar met die pech!

Met pijn en moeite schrijf ik aan jullie dit bericht. Helaas moet ik jullie melden dat ik door een rijder uit de cup 600 van de baan ben gereden. In een van de snelste bochten van het circuit (Ramshoek) reed deze coureur met volle snelheid in de achterkant van mijn motor waardoor ik weer zwaar ten val kwam op de toen nog geblesseerde knie.

Questi sono stati i piazzamenti per Lety 5 e il Team Crazy Old Men sul circuito di Vallelunga per la gara del campionato Femminile FMI, una gara tra le più impegnative per Lety5 che a causa di una bruttissima caduta il Sabato nelle prove di qualifica ha riportato una fortissima contusione e distorsione alla caviglia destra che avrebbe potuto compromettere le gare in programma.
