Тренировки на треке Jerez - Херес, 20 - 22 января 2012
Команда Yakhnich Motorsport в полном составе прибыла в испанский Херес для того, что бы принять участие в первой тренировке сезона 2012 года. Теплая и солнечная погода позволила команде начать размеренный поиск настроек для всех гонщиков.
Владимир Леонов начал свою работу с механиками с принятия решения: какой из двух комплектов подвесок, и какой из двух двигателей стоит выбрать на предстоящий сезон. "Мы сделали выбор, и, начав работать с ним, тут же получили подтверждение, что он верен, - говорит Клаудио Корсетти, - обратная связь от гонщика говорила нам, что мотоцикл чувствуется все лучше и лучше. Для поиска оптимальных настроек потребовалось всего три сессии и... вот оно!! 1:45:5, затем 1:45:2." Стоит знать, что официальный рекорд для класса Supersport на трассе Jerez 1:44:6.
В самом деле, неплохой старт сезона для команды Яхнич моторспорт, особенно, учитывая тот факт, что команда работает на неидеальном асфальте и с шинами Pirelli состава SC2 на переднем и заднем колесе - далеко не самым лучшим выбором для того, что бы показывать быстрое время круга.
Лучшим результатом первого тренировочного дня стал найденный ритм, установленный после полудня при прохладной температуре и на изношенных покрышках: ни одного круга медленнее 1:46... все в ритме 1:45:3 - 1:45:5.
В течение дня Владимир обсуждал пилотирование и выбор траекторий с нашим тренером Рэнди Мамола, который был счастлив давать советы, претворение в жизнь которых немедленно отражалось на скорости нашего пилота.
Расположившийся в другой части бокса Сергей Власов начал свою тренировку со спокойного ритма, что было необходимо после операции на колене, которую он перенес зимой. Сергей обкатывал стоковый R6, который будет использован для участия в Кубке двух стран Coppa dei due Paesi. Это было отличное начало даже с учетом того факта, что новый двигатель необходимо было обкатать в течение пары сессий. После чего, пилот показал время на отметке 1:50:9, что оказалось его новым рекордом круга на этой трассе, после прошлогодних тренировок. Власов начал работать с новой командой механиков, и первый день был использован еще и для того, что бы установить хорошие отношения и понимание в боксе, в результате чего к концу тренировочного дня улыбки были на лицах всей Яхнич мотоспорт!
Наде Яхнич не так повезло с ее возвращением после ужасной аварии, произошедшей в октябре в Мюджелло. Новый двигатель, установленный на ее мотоцикле, забарахлил уже на втором круге первой сессии, в результате чего механики потеряли все утро на его замену. Но нельзя не отметить тот факт, что ее желание пилотировать было намного сильнее свалившейся неудачи, что отразилось на ее ритме, показанном во второй половине дня уже после пары сессий. Завтра Наде предстоит опробовать новые настройки и новую посадку на мотоцикле, которые должны помочь наверстать упущенное сегодня время.
В сезоне 2012 года в команде Yakhnich Motorsport появился еще один гонщик - Давид Леонов, главной задачей для которого стал максимальный накат на мотоцикле Yamaha R6 в течение зимы. Процесс адаптации к мотоциклу не останавливался ни на секунду, и, после быстрого старта он взял ритм необходимый для того, что бы следовать по треку за главным тренером команды Клаудио Корсетти. Давид показал время круга 2:06... "Not bad" - как любит говорить его старший брат Владимир, для того, кто приехал в Херес впервые в карьере...
ГОСТИ
Специальными гостями нашего бокса стали два иностранных пилота: Ребекка Бьянчки и Дакота Мамола - сын известного мотогонщика Рэнди Мамола. Оба пилота - молодые гонщики с определенным опытом, но не в классе мотоциклов с объемом двигателя 600 кубических сантиметров. Особенно это было заметно по Дакоте, для которого это была всего-лишь вторая в жизни попытка пилотирования четырехтактного мотоцикла 600сс... Однако, яркая наследственность отца подтвердила несомненный талант: да, он знает Херес, он пилотировал на нем мотоцикл 125gp, но показанное время 1:53:7 - стало прекрасным и обнадеживающим началом сезона для молодого гонщика. У них с Ребеккой был один мотоцикл на двоих, но даже молодая итальянка впервые в карьере выехавшая за границу, сумела показать 1:56:5, что дало нам некоторое понимание того, что от нее можно ждать в сезоне 2012 года, когда она будет бороться с пилотами-мужчинами в кубке R6.

TRAININGS JEREZ 20-22 jan 2012
The whole Yakhnich Team arrived in Jerez for the first team training of the 2012 season. Not so cold temperature but sunny weather conditions allowed to the team to start a good setting program for all riders.
Vladimir Leonov started to work with is mechanics to finalize the choose beetween two different suspensions sets, and beetween two differents engine configurations. Immediatly from friday the 20th the feeling of the rider with the bike started to be good, and we saw it on the crono: just after a couple of warm up runs, the laptimes started to be interesting: 1'46, then 1'45, the, in the begining of the afternoon even an astonishing 1'44.9... just the tenth of second to the official Supersport record of the Jerez circuit (setted in 1'44.6). Really not bad start of the season for Yakhnich team especially if we consider that we are working with not perfect asphalt condition and with the Pirelli SC2 in front and rear, abosolutely not the best compound for laptime attack.
Saturday and Sunday we continued on that direction. The testing program was a little bit stopped in saturday afternoon, due to some electric and engine problems, so the program was deleted of some sessions. Sunday the weather in the middle of the day was slightly warmer, and the program was completed, improving still the already good performances. Infact, as on friday the rhythm was set around 1'45, on sunday Leonov was able to ride for many laps under that limit, and fixing the best lap in 1'44.7, just 1 thenth of second to the record!
During the days Vladimir had the possibility to discuss about lines and riding style with our special trainer Randy Mamola, and he was happy to apply immediatly some suggestion to improve his performances from friday till sunday.
Vladimir Leonov: "I'm happy with the feeling with both bikes we tested. They have different riding caractheristic, but what is good is that both were fast in the same way. I hade to change my riding in some points passing from one suspensions configuration to the other, but at least we had good informations to go on with the development in next training in Almeria."
On the other side of the box Sergey Vlasov started with a calm rhythm to come back to riding after this winter operation to the knee. He is testing his Stock 600 R6 that will be used in Coppa Dei Due Paesi Trophy. It was a very good beginnig even for him, as, after roling up the new engine for a couple of session, he started to push, up to arrive to 1'51.4, close to confirm his personal record of 1'51.0 in this circuit setted last year after a three days training. Vlasov is working with a new mechanich group and the day was used even to create the good feeling in the box, with all staff smiling at the end of the day!
Unfortunatly the saturday training was stopped by a crash at the second corner. In any case on sunday rider and bike were ready to restart the program, and, lap by lap, the performances became more and more interesting, up to reach easily a stable rhythm of 1'49 and a best lap of 1'49.2!
Nadia Yakhnich was not so lucky in her comeback after the terribile accident of last october in Mugello. Her new engine had a problem after two laps, so mechanics lost all morning to change the engine. By the way her desire to ride was stronger then the bad luck, and so, in the afternoon, in only two sessions, she started to keep a good rhythm, setting 1'58.3 as best lap and 1'56.5 as ideal time! Saturday a dangerous contact with another rider during the early session let her increase her bad feeling with the training, so she decided to stop, waiting for a better luck in Almeria.
Last, but not least, David Leonov entered officialy the Yakhnich Team for 2012 Season riding his R6 trophy bike to take as much experience as possibile during winter. His improving process never stops, so, after a quite start, he took the rhythm always following Claudio Corsetti on the circuit, and signed a best perfomance of 2'06... "Not bad", as his brother Vladimir would say, for a rider that is here for the first time in his career. And improving the riding every day, at the end he stopped the crono in 2'01, absolutely respectable for a rookie in Jerez.
THE GUESTS
Special Guest in our box, two foreigner riders: Rebecca Bianchi and Dakota Mamola, son of the famous Randy. Both of them are young riders with some experiences, but not so much in this class. Especially Dakota, at his second abosolute riding on a four stroke 600 bike... nevertheless, the good blood of the father confirmed the talent: OK, he knows Jerez as he rode here with the 125 Gp bike, but sign 1'51.2 is a wonderful and promising beginnig of the season for this young rider. He shared the same Bike with Rebecca, and even the young italian lady, for the first time of her career out of the italian borders, signed a promising 1'55.4 that let us understand her possibilities in 2012 season, even when she will fight with the man in R6 trophy.
